HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- The latest episode of Team Hanscom Today highlights resilience resources, civilian workforce development and a uniform donation drive supporting the Civil Air Patrol.
Dr. Ebon Alley, director of the Integrated Prevention and Resilience Office at Hanscom AFB, hosted the episode.
“My team’s mission is to enhance warfighter readiness by preventing harm and promoting resilience throughout the Hanscom community,” Alley said. “From the workforce to our families, we strive to provide Team Hanscom with the tools and resources you need to thrive.”
Alley introduced the Balanced Life Series, a virtual program that aims to help participants manage stress while strengthening mental and physical health. The next session will take place Feb. 26 at noon.
Officials also recognized 12 logistics trainees who recently graduated from the Palace Acquire program during the episode. After completing two- and three-year developmental programs, the graduates were placed into positions supporting missions across the installation.
“I was actually able to complete a master’s degree during this program,” said Elaina Boucher, a graduate of the program. “I would recommend it to anybody after graduating college. You get great experiences, and you can continue your education while you're doing the program.”
The episode included details about a uniform donation drive supporting Massachusetts Civil Air Patrol cadets.
Current and former military members are asked to donate Air Force uniforms and related items as the organization transitions from the Airman Battle Uniform to the Operational Camouflage Pattern uniform.
A donation collection tote is located at the south entrance of Building 1521, and contributions will be accepted through April 4.
