Month of the Military Child

HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – Col. Lester A. Weilacher, 66th Air Base Group commander, reads a proclamation he had just signed to students assembled in the Hanscom Middle School all-purpose room April 9 as part of a program highlighting the Month of the Military Child. Each year the Hanscom schools hold the Month of the Military Child assembly to honor military students. Former SECAF speaks at ROTC awards luncheon

BEDFORD, Mass. – Former Secretary of the Air Force Dr. Sheila Widnall addresses an industry association scholarship luncheon at the Doubletree Hotel, April 9. The event, co-sponsored by the Association of Old Crows and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, was a forum for the organizations to present scholarships to deserving local ROTC cadets.
