Readiness inspection

HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. - Firefighters operate the Jaws of Life to rescue a simulated passenger from a vehicle involved in a collision as part of a Consolidated Unit Inspection scenario June 7. The scenario is designed to measure the effectiveness of emergency personnel to manage a major accident on base. Following the readiness portion of the CUI, a full week of rigorous compliance inspections by Air Force Materiel Command inspectors looking at hundreds of inspection items across the installation took place.
