HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – Retired Army Lt. Col. Fred Maguire (center), from the Association of U.S. Army, watches as Col. Lester A. Weilacher, 66th Air Base Group commander, affixes his signature to the Community Covenant from the Town of Braintree, Mass., in the Brown Building atrium Aug. 10. Also taking part in the signing ceremony was Tom Fredericks, 66th Air Base Group deputy director. The covenant is designed to foster and sustain state and community partnerships to support military servicemembers, veterans and their families in the local community.
