HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. – Phil Blanchard, Protocol chief, hoists a replica of the American flag from the 1812 time period in front of the Electronic Systems Center headquarters building on June 18, the 200 year anniversary of the beginning of the War of 1812. This particular flag has flown on several U.S. ships several military bases across the country and will eventually be put on permanent display in an American Legion Post in Florida.
