U.S. Navy Capt. (ret.) Thomas Hudner Jr. Tribute

Medal of Honor recipient retired U.S. Navy Capt. Thomas Hudner Jr. and Col. Michael A. Vogel, 66th Air Base Group commander, look at four Navy F-18F Super Hornets from Strike Fighter Squadron 32 out of Naval Air Station Oceana, Va. One of the aircraft bears the name of Medal of Honor recipient Hudner on one side and Ensign Jesse Brown, the pilot Hudner tried to rescue, on the other. SFS 32 is the descendant of the unit Hudner flew with during the Korean War. Hanscom hosted the Dec. 4, 2014, event on the 64th anniversary of the Korean War actions that earned Hudner his Medal of Honor. (U.S. Air Force photo/Mark Herlihy)
