LRS role in snow removal operations

Rick Lord, 66th Logistics Readiness Squadron mechanic, repairs snow removal equipment at the motor pool during the latest round of snow to hit the region, Feb. 9. LRS mechanics have been working long shifts since Jan. 24 to ensure snow removal equipment is operating optimally and safely for snow removal operations. The mechanics sustain a wide variety of equipment, from large ten wheeled dump-trucks to six passenger 4 x 4 pick-up trucks both equipped with plow blades, and large four cubic yard front-end loaders to multi-purpose sidewalk cleaners.
