Discovering science
Barbara Stella, Traveling Science Workshop educator, teaches Hanscom Primary School second graders about physical changes of matter during a workshop at the school May 20. The Discovery Museums' Traveling Science Workshops, launched in 1992, serve more than 27,000 students each year through a set of 17 topics that support Massachusetts state curriculum standards and Science, Technology, Engineering and Math, or STEM, initiatives.
