AWACS Reservists fly in BALTOPS 2017
A U.S Air Force E-3 Sentry taxis past a NATO E-3A Airborne Warning and Control System aircraft on June 7, 2017, at NATO Air Base Geilenkirchen, Germany. The Planning Development office at Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is developing options for future concepts for advanced battle management and surveillance capabilities. Efforts on ABMS provide the warfighter with command and control capabilities currently conducted by AWACS. Analysis of this project is expected to be complete by March 2018.
