Flight Week introduces youth to aviation, space
Molly Ferland and Tayshaun Jackson work together during an activity during Aviation and Space Week at the STARBASE Academy July 24. During the weeklong camp, 20 middle school-aged children studied the nature of flight, flew aircraft simulations, created aircraft through computer aided design, launched rockets, flew drones and researched the International Space Station.
