Hanscom leaders celebrate CCAF accomplishment
Matt Merighi, the National Security Innovation Network’s Northeast Regional director, speaks to government, industry and academia representatives at the Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., Collaborative Nerve Center May 25. The event brought together innovation leaders from across Hanscom, the Massachusetts National Guard, AFWERX, the Defense Innovation Unit, the MassTech Collaborative, MassChallenge, Northeastern University’s Kostas Research Institute, the University of Massachusetts Lowell’s Northstar Campus and others. Attendees discussed current innovation-focused partnerships and participated in brainstorming sessions to identify new opportunities for collaboration. The group plans to meet again next quarter to work toward establishing a formal New England integrated innovation team.
