Health officials render COVID precaution refresher

Although the COVID-19 public health emergency ended in May, variants of the virus remain in wide global circulation. Officials from the 66th Medical Squadron here are reminding personnel of the most effective ways to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, as well as other viruses.

COVID vaccination or negative COVID test required for some base access

Effective Nov. 23, civilian and contractor Department of Defense employees and visitors doing business on the base must attest to being fully vaccinated or produce a negative COVID test result taken within the past 72 hours.

Trick-or-treating guidelines modified

Senior leaders have modified the 2020 trick-or-treating rules of engagement here in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Massachusetts guidance. Base Halloween trick-or-treating will be held Saturday, Oct. 31, from 4 to 6 p.m., and is open to on base-families only.
