  • Hanscom teams support testing of A.I. and ‘robotic dogs’ at Tyndall

    Two Hanscom teams are helping to build the “base of the future” by integrating an exciting new force protection technology at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. Teams within the Force Protection and Special Programs Divisions, both headquartered here, supplied and integrated the 325th Security Forces Squadron with four prototype Quad-legged Unmanned Ground Vehicles, or ‘robotic dogs,’ in March.
  • “SpeedDealer” team awards long-range radar integration contract with production options

    The Theater Battle Control Division, headquartered here, awarded an $8.4 million integration contract to Lockheed Martin Corp. March 26 as part of the Three Dimensional Expeditionary Long-Range Radar Rapid Prototyping program. Program officials said the main intent of the integration effort is to develop, test and field interfaces that allow the radar system to transmit data to other command and control nodes.
  • EITaaS team stands up new security operations center

    A Hanscom IT team stood up an Enterprise IT-as-a-Service Security Operations Center, referred to as an ESOC, in San Antonio in late February to ingest data from Buckley Garrison, Colorado, and Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. With updated visualization and automation capabilities, the new ESOC will provide cybersecurity professionals with increased threat detection resources, allowing shorter response times.
