Military Working Dog teams take flight

Critical force-protection system completed ahead of time, under budget

Installed TASS equipment provides surveillance, detection and situational awareness to the operating location during a sand storm. CONEX containers provide an excellent platform to mount equipment, provide more height for improved detection capability, and house other TASS components from the elements. Hanscom’s Force Protection Division, in collaboration with service partners and using rapid acquisition methods, recently completed the installation ahead of schedule and under budget. Readiness inspection

HANSCOM AIR FORCE BASE, Mass. -- Airmen perform a litter carry as part of a Self-Aid and Buddy Care scenario as part of the Consolidated Unit Inspection at Camp Patriot June 7. A small cadre of 20 Airmen, known as Hanscom's "A-Team," demonstrated Self-Aid and Buddy Care, Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense and weapons familiarization during a readiness portion of the CUI.
