  • Ruiz Gate open for inbound, outbound traffic

    Officials from the 66th Security Forces Squadron announced the Ruiz Gate (formerly Hartwell Gate) will open during select hours beginning Aug. 24. The gate will be open Monday through Friday from 6 to 8 a.m. and 3 to 5 p.m. for both inbound and outbound traffic.

  • Hanscom Lanes reopening

    The Hanscom Lanes bowling center reopened for regular bowling on Aug. 20, but there’s a limit to the amount of people using the facility at any one time.

    Members from the Hanscom Diversity and Inclusion cell are hosting ‘Ruck Against Racism’ here Aug. 28 at 8:30 a.m. Organizers say the 2.5 mile event is open to all members of the Hanscom community to ruck or walk, and will serve as an opportunity for open discussion on diversity and inclusiveness

  • Bass installed as the Air Force’s 19th CMSAF

    Chief Master Sgt. JoAnne S. Bass formally took the reins Aug. 14 as the Air Force’s 19th Chief Master Sergeant, in the process becoming the first woman and the first person of Asian American descent to be elevated to the service’s highest-ranking enlisted officer.
