  • AFMC Connect May focus: Contribute

    A healthy workplace is one in which everyone collaborates to achieve mission goals and feels compelled to contribute, which is the focus topic for AFMC Connect for May 2021. It is important for each individual Airman to contribute to a unit’s mission and to have that contribution recognized. Each person’s role should be clearly understood and opportunities for continual growth provided.
  • Air Force Employee Assistance Program widens resource umbrella

    The variety of resources available to Air Force EAP users will increase with the revamping of the programs’ coaching and financial services, which go live May 1. The EAP is expanding the level of support to members by encompassing “positive” engagements like lifestyle coaching, where participants can establish goals and priorities to maximize personal stability.
  • ‘Fired up Chief’ to speak to Team Hanscom

    Airmen, civilians and contractors here are invited to participate in a virtual professional development event March 5 hosted by retired Chief Master Sgt. Juan Lewis.
  • Department of the Air Force leaders focus on resiliency

    Senior leaders are focused on building and growing resilience by establishing a task force called Operation Arc Care. This task force is currently reviewing resilience programs and overarching strategy using a phased approach which began in November.

    Airmen interact with family, friends and co-workers based on how they value themselves and the people around them. Each Airman’s value to the mission can be enhanced and strengthened through daily connections.
  • AFMC Connect: Resiliency, connectedness 2021 focus

    The Air Force Materiel Command will continue to focus on resiliency in 2021 through the AFMC Connect program. The initiative, launched in January 2020, provides monthly training topics for leaders to use for facilitating deliberate and meaningful discussions with teams in an effort to increase unit cohesion and connectedness.
